I finished these socks a few weeks ago. They were a present for my friend Lavrentia, who made me the beautiful crochet project bag I wrote about recently. I enjoy knitting socks with lace, but it's also very satisfying to use a simple pattern and let the yarn show off it's stripes! Lavrentia loved them and I'm a very happy knitter!

ReplyDeleteThose socks are very pretty. There is something very satisfying about knitting a basic pattern and letting the yarn speak for itself, isn't there?
