My internet connection is working again!

I've been having trouble connecting to the internet for the past week - the problem is temporarily fixed but not solved. Apart from restarting my computer 1000 times, installing and uninstalling programs, running scans and going mad, I've had a wonderful week :)

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my last post! I also want to thank you for your comments on the two languages! I'll just keep doing what I do now - whatever feels right for each post. But don't worry, I will continue writing the blog in both languages, my question was only about how to combine them in each post :)

Caffeine Girl asked about how I know both languages so well :) I'm bilingual; I learned English first and then Greek, when I was four or five years old.

Mirsini asked if we have knitting meetings in Thessaloniki. Yes we do, and we would love to have more knitters! You can find us on Ravelry - our group is Thessaloniki Knitting and Crochet. You can also send me an email and I'll let you know about our next meeting!

Even with all the frustration of trying to fix my computer, I've had a wonderful time these days. I went to Larisa, I knit in public, I blocked a lace shawl, I'm almost finished with my Spring Forward socks, I finally got pictures of my Shalom cardigan and I made my first traditional greek spinach pie (spanakopita). I also have pictures from our knitting meetings, so now that my poor little computer is working again, I'll be posting about all my knitting (and cooking) adventures!

Μπορείτε να μας βρείτε στο Ravelry, η ομάδα μας είναι εδώ: Thessaloniki Knitting and Crochet.

  1. Good lord! You guys are knitting outside already? I'll be there on Wednesday and am now rethinking my idea to pack a winter coat...

  3. The weather was warm and sunny last week and I did knit outside a few times, but now it's cold and raining again!

  4. I'm glad the internet has let you back. I love your blog - it is like a bit of warm mediterranean sunshine and blue sky on a grey British morning.

I'm glad you've decided to stay bilingual as I'd struggle to keep up to date with your knitting without the English version!
