Six great knitters and one great crocheter

Day three of the Knitting and Crochet Blog Week and today's topic is:

Write about a knitter whose work (whether because of project choice, photography, styling, scale of projects, stash, etc) you enjoy. If they have an enjoyable blog, you might find it a good opportunity to send a smile their way.


My first thought when I read this topic was, What? Only one? There are lots of knitters whose work I admire! Here are a few of my favorite knitters:

Roko on Ravelry. Her project page is amazing and her blog is here. She is an amazing knitter and very fast too! I think everything she makes is perfect; cables, lace, colourwork - it's all lovely. But what I love most are the little hats she makes for her dog every year for the New Year. The mouse, the tiger and my favorite, the cow.

Aquaknits on Ravelry. Beautiful pictures and gorgeous handspun yarn. Every project is so pretty and so unique, because of the yarn she uses. Her blog is here.

Moonstitches on Ravelry. I love her pictures and the colors she uses in her projects. Her blog is here.

Lina (Havnknitlover on Ravelry). I love all the pictures on her blog, her projects and her stash. She has an amazing collection of yarn which includes quite a bit of Wollmeise. I'm jealous! :)

Monika (SmokingHotNeedles on Ravelry). Beautiful pictures, lots of great projects and gorgeous handspun yarn. She's an amazing knitter!

Mooncalf on Ravelry. She knits beautiful sweaters and cardigans that fit her perfectly and she knits them fast! I love reading her blog and she always has beautiful pictures too.

And finally, Lucy of Attic24 is an amazing crocheter. I love the colors she uses, the pictures she posts on her blog and her patterns.

Τρίτη μέρα σήμερα και το θέμα είναι:

Γράψε για μια πλέκτρια που θαυμάζεις - είτε για τα πλεκτά που διαλέγει να φτιάξει, τις φωτογραφίες, την ποσότητα των πλεκτών, τα νήματα που έχει, κλπ.

Η πρώτη μου σκέψη όταν είδα αυτό το θέμα ήταν, Τι; Μόνο μια πλέκτρια; Υπάρχουν τόσες πολλές που θαυμάζω! Οπότε σας παρουσιάζω μερικές από τις αγαπημένες μου:

Η Roko στο Ravelry. Η σελίδα με τα πλεκτά της είναι απίστευτη και το blog της είναι εδώ. Είναι εκπληκτική πλέκτρια και πολύ γρήγορη! Νομίζω ότι όλα τις τα πλεκτά είναι τέλεια. Πλέκει δαντέλα, με χρώματα, τα πάντα. Αλλά αυτό που μου αρέσει πιο πολύ είναι τα καπέλα που φτιάχνει κάθε χρόνο για την καινούρια χρονιά για το σκυλάκι της. Το ποντίκι, ο τίγρης και το αγαπημένο μου, η αγελάδα.

Η Aquaknits στο Ravelry. Πανέμορφες φωτογραφίες και υπέροχα νήματα που φτιάχνει μόνη της. Κάθε πλεκτό είναι όμορφο και μοναδικό αφού χρησιμοποιεί τόσο όμορφα νήματα. Το blog της είναι εδώ.

Η Moonstitches στο Ravelry. Λατρεύω τις φωτογραφίες της και τα χρώματα που χρησιμοποιεί. Το blog της είναι εδώ.

Η Lina (Havnknitlover στο Ravelry). Λατρεύω όλες τις φωτογραφίες στο blog της, τα πλεκτά της και τα νήματα που έχει. Έχει πραγματικά υπέροχη συλλογή και μια ωραία ποσότητα από νήματα Wollmeise. Ζηλεύω! :)

Η Monika (SmokingHotNeedles στο Ravelry). Πανέμορφες φωτογραφίες, απίθανα πλεκτά και τέλεια νήματα που φτιάχνει μόνη της. Είναι πραγματικά απίστευτη πλέκτρια!

Η Mooncalf στο Ravelry. Πλέκει υπέροχα πουλόβερ και ζακετάκια που της στρώνουν τέλεια και τα πλέκει και πολύ γρήγορα! Μου αρέσει πολύ να διαβάζω το blog της και πάντα βάζει ωραίες φωτογραφίες.

Τέλος, μια πλέκτρια που λατρεύω που πλέκει με το βελονάκι είναι η Lucy από το Attic24. Διαλέγει πάντα τέλεια χρώματα, βγάζει πολύ όμορφες φωτογραφίες και έχει γράψει και μερικά πολύ ωραία σχέδια για κουβέρτες.

Ελπίζω να απολαύσατε τα πλεκτά που σας έδειξα. Εγώ σίγουρα τα λατρεύω, βρίσκω πάντα πολύ έμπνευση σε αυτά.
