Pattern // Σχέδιο: Monkey by Cookie A from Knitty, 64 sts
Yarn // Νήμα: Lorna's Lace Shepherd Sock in Apple Hill
Needles // Βελόνες: 2mm
Modifications: 2x2 rib instead of twisted rib and I made a slipped stitch heel.
I was wondering do you knit your socks on dpns or magic loop? I've tried both and I hadn't figured out which I like better. Just curious. Those sock are beautiful. I love the color.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :D I knit all my socks on dpns. I recently learned magic loop and I think I'll use it for hats and sleeves in the round, but I like dpns for socks. Probably because that's how I learned to knit socks. For this pattern, I would recommend dpns, because you can have one pattern repeat on each needle - no need to use stitch markers!
ReplyDeleteGreat socks. Love the pattern and colour.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable. I think I'll have to knit another pair. My first one shrank when I accidently threw them in the washing machine.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this yarn. And the Monkey pattern seems like a lot of fun to knit. I suspect I'll make myself a pair one of these days!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Just love the colors!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these! They look like they were woven. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
